Ama Dablam is surely one of the most beautiful of mountains and probably the most striking of views. From one angle the mountain sits serenely with its ridges extending towards you like welcoming arms whilst high on the South-West face a hanging glacier resembles a Dablam, the sacred ornamental box worn by the Sherpini, and from which the mountain takes its name.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Trip commences in Kathmandu, introductions and formalities

Day 02 : Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
Day 03-04 : Preparation & official briefing in Kathmandu
Day 05 : Lukla (2800m ) by air in morning, then trek to Phakding

Day 06 : Namche Bazaar

Day 07 : Pangboche
Height : 3985m
Day 08 : Thyangboche
Height : 3867m
Day 09 : Ama Dablam Base Camp & Fixed Base Camp

Day 10-25 : Climbing period to Ama Dablam

Day 26 : Pherich
Height : 4243m
Day 27 : Lobuche
Height : 4887m
Day 29 : Sagamartha Base Camp (5400m) and return to Lobuche

Day 30 : Pangboche

Day 31 : Namche Bazaar

Day 34 : Kathmandu by air
